Five Star Baseball Merges with Chain Baseball

In an effort to always improve and develop a better baseball organization for the student-athletes in Jacksonville, Florida, the board of Five Star Baseball is excited to announce that the Jacksonville Warriors  and the Five Star Tigers, will be merging with Chain Baseball of Warner Robins at the end of the year.

Chain Baseball was established back in 1985 by founder Buddy Meyer. Buddy and Ben Stevens (founder of Five star) were two of the original pioneers in the college placement of high school baseball players. Chain Baseball, run by Andy Burress of Warner Robins, has had thousands of players receive college scholarships and hundreds drafted by Major League Baseball.

We believe that the organization’s philosophies are similar  and the merger will make the new Chain Baseball one of, if not the most prominent baseball organizations, serving 8 to 18 years, in the country.
